Summary
Responsible for program administration and activities coordination. Supervises the activities, safety, and well-being of sports teams in a sport program. Maintains a fun, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere to facilitate an environment where parents, players, coaches, and officials can enjoy the program by participating in many scheduled game, practice, and team activities.
Primary responsibilities
- Sets up equipment necessary for program operation.
- Sets up facility for scheduled activities (scoreboards, scorecards, nets, etc.)
- Issues team-specific equipment to coaches.
- Communicates with parents, officials, and coaches on-site.
- Ensures the smooth operation of scheduled activities.
- Travels throughout the park in order to monitor scheduled activity.
- Cleans up park following scheduled activities.
- Organizes equipment storage room throughout program.
- Monitors safety of program setting at all times.
- Implements Emergency Action Plans when necessary.
Qualifications
High School Student Diploma or GED.
